You can't swap a phone you don't have.
If you had insurance at the material time then claim with them.

@justin+nightingal Why on earth would you think Sky would send you a replacement?
You mention you have mobile insurance but you clearly can't have for two reasons,
1. You never mentioned it before and you seem to have not contacted them, despite it being months since you lost or had your phone stolen.
2. No insurance company anywhere offers multi year policies, they are all 12 month renewable at most.
Something is very much off with this whole thread.

In fairness having insurance was mentioned back on 17 Aug but the above tends to suggest there is more to this than we're privy to and perhaps the claim is in question.

1. Have your insurance company accepted your claim?
2. If they have, what advise have they given you in order to source a replacement device?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@justin+nightingal Sky won't and can't contact you on the back of a forum post as they wouldn't know who you are.
You need to call them to report the phone lost/stolen and will need to be patient when trying to get through.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@justin+nightingal how many time do you need to be told before it sinks in Sky can do nothing to help, they have zero obligation.
I can't understand why you haven't claimed on the insurance you say you have, it makes zero sense.
Repeatedly asking for help tracking it months after it disappeared is odd, it gives off a really uneasy feeling that your actually trying to track someone else's phone.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYour post is difficult to understand but it has been edited as you can't name the alleged offender on a public forum as that could get you into all sorts of trouble.
If you have proof this person took your phone (and it's not a civil matter) contact the police again so the investigating officer can look into it.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt's not surprising if Sky Protect won't let you claim on a policy you say expired 6 years ago. You've asked repeatedly about loss and theft of your mobiles over the last 10 months. You still seem to be of the belief that Sky will replace them. They won't and you're still responsible for paying for the stolen one and/or the repairs to the damaged one.
