esim

does anyone know if you have to pay for an esim on top of an ipad i have just brought an ipad monthly payment and it has a £6 charge to e sim and i have no idea if i have to have it

When you ordered the iPad did you also order a data package for an esim because if you did that is why you are seeing this charge.

i'm not sure but is there any way i can just pay for the ipad i don't even need data i checked before and thought i was just paying for the ipad

If you are seeing a £6 charge for an esim then you will need to call Sky to ask them to cancel this.

 

150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

No, you don't have to.  The SIM gives access to cellular data.

 

You could use WiFi only or tether to a mobile if you want such access.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
