I thought I'd convert one of our SIMs to an eSIM now that this feature is available.
Please note this is using the "Convert to eSIM" option from the "Manage SIM" option in my account.
I get a verification code sent to the phone. There's then a rainbow progress bar that goes back and forth for a while and then I end up on a page saying:
Almost done...
While you’re waiting, check your email
You’ll receive your confirmation code to ***** shortly. Once you've got this, come back to install your eSIM on your device.
With an "Install eSIM" button.
The "*****" is the correct email address, but then an email never arrives. I've checked the usual junk/spam folders and nothing.
Does this process actually work?

FYI.
The response from the chat was a load of questions and then "try again" and wait. I did try again and still no email.
As this isn't causing us an actual issue I don't think I can spend the hours talking/chatting to support over it. Although it'd be nice to know why we're not receiving the email.

Hi there,
I know exactly what you mean, I have been trying for weeks to convert a Sky Mobile "physical" SIM to an eSIM.
I have used the SKY app to do it, god knows how many times, I've so many activation codes on my mobile its unreal. I have chatted with Sky customer services and they promise "oh! You will receive an email with in 4 hours (seems to be the magic number)... NOTHING" I've done this about 5 times now...... completely useless, I've had one man saying 24 hours, waited 48 hours just in case.... nothing.
Ive photoshot the screen of the verication messages on my phone and saved about 4 transcripts of the conversation and this is the kicker, I've emailed customer services with these details a few times now and received one email in response...... totally useless. I have better chance seen my dogs fly with turbos up where the sun does not shine than getting Sky sorting this matter out.
Absolutely fed up with them and being a Diamond VIP Sky member what a complete farce!!

I've applied for eSIM 48 hours ago but never received email as it states?

I raised the issue on Live chat 08:30am this morning and this was the response :
"I have checked with the team as there is an on going error hence you unable to receive code but foryou will raise a note so the team can notify you regards it apologies for the inconvinve"
They said I would be contacted by email. Heard nothing so far, good luck!

Had anyine managed to get this resolved? I've tried to order and eSIM several times but never got the emial confirmation issued. Clearly an issue and trying to speak to sky is impossible
