eSIM Seamless Activation with Sky Mobile

What is an eSIM? 

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM that’s already built into a phone, tablet or laptop. So, you don’t need a physical SIM card.

Ordering an eSIM? 

If you want an eSIM rather than a physical SIM card, at the point of sale you’ll now need to let us know:

• PAC or STAC - if they want to transfer or cancel an existing number; and
• Spend cap.

To get the eSIM working: 

You now just need to install your eSIM on an eSIM compatible device. To install, you’ll need to go to Sky.com, scan the QR code on your account and enter the eSIM confirmation code which we’ll email to you.

After that, we’ll activate it for you along with any spend caps and we'll transfer your number if requested.

Hi,

I have been trying to convert my SIM to an eSIM with no luck. I have used just about every suggestion on your web and none work. If I use ther"Convert a physical SIM card to eSIM online" I get to number (5) to select the eSIM box, but this is greyed out. I have, using othewr tries, got to the scan the QR code, but all this does is copy onto my screen and lock up. I have to turn the phone off to get rid of it. I have probablt tried about 10 different times to convert, but none work. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

It's been almost two weeks and I still do not have a working eSim. Can any one at Sky help me? Keep getting told by customer services they are lookig into why the email code is not comimg through.

Just had to call sky to convert normal SIM to Esim been told it takes 24hrs not so seamless
