Some person phoned me to say i won a promotion they said i would have 40% knocked off my bill for 12 months and i could pick an apple watch or headphones i picked a watch.the next day igot my package but inside was an iphone 15 pro max and a series 9 watch. The person phoned me and said there had been a server error and i had recieved someone elses parcel could i take it to the post office and he sent me a qr code for the post office.he said when i had got the receipt to take a photo and send it for proof and then they could dispatch the watch i had chose.i have photos of the chats that we had had and of the receipt.waited 2 days no watch so i phoned sky and they said they do not send whats app messages but to me it looked real because  the sky logo was on there and they knew my details and that i'd been with sky for a long time.now i have got to pay for the phone and watch and its made me really ill

@Robert4963  Given the gramma and spelly on that text I'd be very suspicious of any unsolicited calls/contact.

This sounds like a fairly well known scam unfortunately.

I believe it was covered on the BBC Scam Interceptors programme

@Robert4963

It's a scam from the start.  Ignore the business about sending it elsewhere (but obviously don't do that) : what you need to establish with Sky is that the phone and watch were fraudulently ordered against your Sky account, and they need to go back to Sky.
