Wifi calling issues

For months when im at home my phone is constantly on 'emergency calls only' which you think is where WiFi calling would kick in considering its switched on and im connected to my WiFi. But no! When ever i try to make a call im just told no signal, it used to work fine hut now doesn't work at all. I've tried everything, all the steps on Google, ive rang sky constantly to then in the end be told its my 2 year old phone so got a brand new phone and the exact same thing is happening! It's infuriating. I live in a small village so signal is generally poor which is why wifi calling has always been beneficial for me and much needed. I'm now being told its a mast issue, but this has been ongoing for months. My daughter is on sky and has no issues using wifi calling. If I move my sim card into my tablet it works absolutely fine and uses wifi calling!

Re: Wifi calling issues

I am having the same problem. I have a rural business and both myself and my employess rely on wifi calling to make or receive calls as we have no 4g service. I changed my contract to Sky Business back in February and since being connected we have never had wifi calling. We all have different phones with different networks and yet none of us can use wifi calling. We are having to go to other business within the location to make calls. I have made several complaints, initally I was told Sky did not offer wifi calling. I have since been told that there should be no problem yet this issue contines. I have been sent a new router yet this has made no difference. I canno't operate or run my business like this and am getting nowhere! I believe I have grounds to cancel my contract and report this poor inadeqaute service to ofcom.

Hi @JoF3  wifi calling on sky is only guaranteed to work on phones purchased directly from sky so if you didn't buy them from sky this could be your issue.

You're not telling Sky here...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
