I had WiFi, but had a problem accessing my mobile network. I could access Safari, I could phone and accept calls and I could text, but no Messenger, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube........
I spoke to Sky, I spoke to Apple - 'reset network settings', 'reset phone settings' - still no luck.
My VPN was turned off as suggested, still no joy.
Then, after hours of trying to resolve the issue, I asked ChatGPT as a last resort.
It came up with a very thorough and simple walkthrough of checks to do.
VPN was mentioned and I was asked if it was turned off - yes. But then it said that there could still be a conflict with VPN, even though it was turned off, and I should remove the app completely.
