Why can’t Sky send me a PAC code?

I want a PAC code from Sky.

Today 23/11/25 I had 3 separate conversations with sky customer service and 2 attempts to use the website.
I have two mobile numbers in the account.

Sky can't txt me the security code which is required before they can txt the PAC code.
The problem has been escalated to the "PAC Rejections Team" who should call me Wednesday.

I have little faith I will receive a follow up call.

Any suggestions?

Two stage security appears to be the issue.

I can enter the first 6 digit security code but then this Sky message appears.

"We're sorry, there has been a problem"

" Sorry, we can't process your request on line at the moment"

Call us, call a sky expert.

And the sorry tale continues.....the sky expert can't provide a pac code and refers you to a contactless unknown group of "technical" back office staff. 
Sky would appear to be very deliberately making it a difficult ( so far impossible ) challenge to move your mobile number to an alternative provider.

Any help, suggestions gratefully received.
