Where is my transferred phone number
Phone fully working and I can send receive on most apps after transferring from O2 using my transferred (O2) number.
However the temporary number used during the transfer before the PAC transfer is still present in Settings - mobile service.
Some apps use this setting and so don't work.
Sky web says before 6pm to transfer - it has been - surely the interim number shouldn't be present and I can't change it?

Re: Where is my transferred phone number
If your number has fully transferred (and it's been confirmed) then the old number is simply a setting on your device. (And not a network issue)
They can be problematic to change but many attempts and reboots may fix it. You don't mention what device you have...

Re: Where is my transferred phone number
Order and pac code yesterday for an eSIM.
Disconnection from O2 at that time.
Interim phone and transfer started again yesterday.
O2 confirmed chopped service this am.
Again about noon I was able to call and receive on my transferred number.
But FaceTime still using interim number.
Mobile Service still using interim.

if you gave Sky the pac code yesterday then the number should transfer over today.

Re: Where is my transferred phone number
Well - I have been told my transfer is complete - help doesn't help. I still cannot be seen on FaceTime - because the contact number is wrong.
Since being told I have corrected my Phone no in settings - as described. My correct no stays "attempting" in FaceTime.
I have turned phone of and on - no change.
it's an iPhone. 13 I think. Aaaaaaaagh

Re: Where is my transferred phone number
Try refreshing the network settings so go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then go to Settings - Phone - My Number and change it if it is wrong, then reboot the phone. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.

Re: Where is my transferred phone number
Seems to be correct now. Only problem all those known networks - friends and colleagues will need setting up whenever I visit. Damn shame.
Had I realised I may have just abandoned FaceTime - shame but should be far more simple without loss of function.
