I read you need a 50GB allowance to watch Sky content on your phone without using data. I just wanted to check: does that mean you need to be paying for 50GB each month, or that you need to have saved up at least 50GB in your Sky Piggy bank? If the latter, could you grab the data back, so you have more than 50GB, and then be able to watch content without using data?
Thanks in advance for any help/answers

50MB of data is a tiny amount and really shouldn't be a challenge on any subscription. I'd assume that a top-up from the Piggybank would work (the minimum 1GB it's possible to transfer being twenty times larger than 50MB)

Re: Watching Sky Go without using data
It's 50 megabytes (a negligible amount), not 50 gigabytes.

Re: Watching Sky Go without using data
Ah, sorry, my mistake.
Then replacing all my GBs with MBs, do you know the answer?
Thanks.

Re: Watching Sky Go without using data
AIUI you simply need 50MB available under the appropriate SIM to start watching.

Re: Watching Sky Go without using data
Thank you, I think I got confused by the amount, and also my phone showed data being used. However I've just read that that's what happens, even though data is only used for adverts.

Re: Watching Sky Go without using data
Thank you, I see that now. Was confused between what data my phone said was being used and what is actually used.

Your phone's own data monitor will show as data being used because it is. It is just that Sky will not "charge" you for it apart from a really tiny amount for some pre roll adverts.
