I requested my mobile number transfer over from EE to Sky on Saturday. My old number is still not active and still listed as the sky number.
how long on average does this take?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs number transfers do not take place at the weekend by doing this on a Saturday it is as if you did it on a Monday so you might find the number transfers sometime today.

I've since received the email and text today it's happened. But on settings it still hasn't changed and every time I restart the phone it still hasn't changed ?

The correct number is now showing, but iMessage and FaceTime will not activate

Go to settings, message, send receive
Tap on Apple ID and sign out.
Turn iMessage off.
Turn your phone off for at least 10 seconds
Go to settings, message, iMessage turn back on
Tap on send receive and sign in to Apple ID
Make sure correct number showin in "start new conversations from"
