Voicemail

I get the text when someone leaves a message and can play the visual message back but when I dial 759 it says no messages or saved messages so I cannot hear it the old fashioned way. It keeps saying no messages after I dial 759 despite the person who rang leaving. Voicemail... prefer the traditional method how do I get this working tried all sorts .
