Voicemail issue

About a week back I had a voicemail left on my mobile,it was one of those short no real message types,I've deleted from my inbox, but I have a persistant problem where everytime I boot up my mobile and for the time it's on it's still saying there is a voicemail waiting for me! but each time I check my mail is empty, how do I get rid of this notification? I'm using a Samsung Android

Can you use a different device to leave yourself a voicemail and then delete it as it might then clear this other one ?

Re: Voicemail issue

You are a genius! I tried leaving a voicemail on my mobile via my landline, and then deleted it! it worked!! the notification saying I have voicemail vanished,so simple and I would never thought of it.

Re: Voicemail issue

hi, it can be some glitch in the receiving server, that can happen when some update is installed, it can be for the phone or the app, take a look on this post maybe can help you out https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/no-signal-after-software-update/td-p/919716... and try to remove the cache app or remove it completely and install it again, if you still face the same issue try to use another app like mailbox app https://null48.net/mailbox-app-android-free-download/ hope these steps help you out.

Re: Voicemail issue

Go to Settings > Apps > Phone > Storage, then tap on "Clear Cache". This might remove any cached data causing the notification issue.
