Voicemail Annoyance

I can't remember the PIN I set up years ago as I don't use Voicemails. Unfortunately scammers and a car salesman have left me a number that I have tried to access via the suggested route. I have called Sky who don't want to change my PIN for me despite passing all the security checks. I keep getting the annoying notification that I have Voicemails (if you are a little OCD then constantly clearing your notifications off your phone drags you down!) but when I follow the guide, I never receive the text to reset it despite my phone number being linked to my Sky account. Why is it so difficult to get any help from Sky with this? I have spoken to three separate people and explained the issue three times but noone seems able or willing to sort the issue for me.

@Mike23572

Have you checked your messaging folders bin/trash folder for this text ?

If you have and it isn't there then pretty much all you can do is to put in a complaint:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

This might not be a speedy process as Sky actually has up to 8 weeks to resolve your issue or to issue you with a deadlock letter which will allow you to take it further.
