VIP Sim Deals

Just a quick question. I have 4 SKy Mobile Sims, and keep seeing better data deals via the VIP app. As you cannot get a PAC code to change to the same network, it isn't really fair that as an exsisting customer, i cannot change to the unless i get a new Sim and Number etc. Just feel it's a bit unfair as been with Sky 14 years. But new deals etc. don't apply unless i change everything

When you joined Sky with those 4 sims that chances are you would have had a promotion of them to tempt you to join therefore these VIP deals are not different. Having said that I do tend to agree with you as I am with a different network and don't have issues accessing different offers even though I have been with my network for years.

Hi @SadSimon  unfortunately that's what sky (and many other companies) have decided, those deals are for new customers. Most older customers received an offer when they first joined sky and of course if you are out of contract you can choose to leave for a better deal if you want to.

Re: VIP Sim Deals

It's a bit of a pain, but you can swap number to a pay as you go sim with another network, and swap it back. I did this before and Cost me a fiver to top up the pay as yoi go sim. Told Vodafone I had just changed my mine. Process took little under a week. Was a bit of a pain in the read having to carry three sims, the original, the pay as you go, and the new one.
