Using another ESim while abrosd

Hi I am travelling to New Zealand and I am a Sky mobile customer with an eSIM, I want to be able to use my phone with a NZ e sim too, is that possible?

That depends on the handset model: dual eSIM functionality is a high-end feature.

Thank you I have an iPhone 17. Would Sky be able to unlock it for the duration and I could use an actual sim?

NZ is a roaming passport plus location.  Whether £2 per 24 hours is acceptable is up to you...

Of course, using another SIM means a different phone number if you want to accept incoming phone calls...

Phones purchased from Sky are not network locked.

A quick Google says that iPhone 17 supports dual SIMs with either 1 physical and 1 eSIM or 2 eSIM...

Sure - just ensure the Sky SIM doesn't connect via cellular as there's potential for the RPP to be activated...
