Upgrade Contract

My phone is now out of contract and I'm just paying for the sim now. But sky are now offering much better contracts at a cheaper price. When I go to upgrade my device it's not giving me an option to select a new sim plan which I would ideally like to do. It takes me straight to the payment screen just for the new device. How do I go about getting a completely new contract? Do I have to cancel the sim? Everything is now paid off. This is my first contract with sky so I am slightly unsure on what to do. Thank you!!

You can order a new sim seperately from here:

https://www.sky.com/shop/mobile/plans

 

Unless you cancel the sim you have then you will paying for two of them. The new sim will have a new number as you can not directly transfer the number to the new sim without moving it to and back from a PAYG network and to do this that sim must not be cancelled.
