Hi I was just wondering I am wanting to buy a iPhone 16 pro and the credit agreement is saying a upfront cost so all I want to know is can I pay the upfront cost a different way or does it have to be my debit card ? I am just wondering as I don't want to pay it upfront with a different card and it puts that card as I direct debit for the rest ?

Thank you I just didn't want to agree to the payment and not be able to pay with a different card it's only the upfront cost I want to pay with a different card I just don't want my direct debit with that card as it's a credit card that's all

Find out moreIf an upfront payment is required it will tell you how it has to be paid so if it is asking for a card payment then this will be what you will have to. The reason it has asked for this payment is because you have only just past the credit check so this payment will be taken off what you owe for the device across your contract.

Ok thank you for your reply but if I pay with a different card for the upfront cost only will it automatically use that card for a direct debit ?
