Unable to install e-sum

I bought my son a new iPad and my father pays for his data plan with Sky. The first e-sim activated but wouldn't work. We have had two replacements e-sims but neither would activate.

I have the iPad with me and can only access it when my son is in school. He is autistic and has learning difficulties and won't let me have the iPad when he is at home. 

 

I have done all the trouble shooting available on the Sky website and Apple, nothing is working. Each time I have scanned the QR code and put the relevant confirmation code in it won't activate.

 

We have spent hours on the telephone to Sky (which has meant my father having to travel to my house because the Sky account is his) and it still hasn't been resolved. My father was promised a callback yesterday at 4pm so they could check it had worked this time, but no one called him.

 

This has been going on for weeks and we're getting nowhere.

 

Please can someone resolve this.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

How did you manage to get a replacement e sim? I was supposed to have one sent out 2 weeks ago and still no luck
