@Largetha yep I've been having to tether to my other half's phone to use his data, which is better than nothing but of course no ability to text or make/receive calls in an emergency. Sky support leaving you with the only option of trying to solve their own network issue by speaking to other customers is pretty ridiculous! My partner has had 5g in all states we've been in roaming on vodafone, I'm not even getting a full list of providers come up even if I could connect to any.

I am also I'm the USA (California) using a Google pixel 5 experiencing the same issues. I've tried your fix and multiple others (including swapping other non sky mobile Sims into my phone, which work).
I am instead now relying on a friend's mobile phone (with O2) which works.,on a tethered basis.
I also tried contacting sky customer services on that friend's phone to go through trouble fixing with them. They suggested I try resetting network settings..I did...this also didn't work.
Then after a 30 mins wait on the phone (I would have waited longer if a fix was forthcoming) I was told to expect a call back from technical services in the next 72 hours...72 bloody hours!!
Fuming....
😡🤬

What helped me: I went to roaming data in settings on my iPhone and changed the network selection from automatic to choosing myself and from 5g to 4g and that helped to sort out the issue. I hope it will be useful for you too.

Has anyone had any reply from Sky Mobile about the fact we can not connect our phones while in the USA?
I have been here in the Denver area since the 4th September 2024 and still can't connect to phone or data.
This is just not good enough.
Does Sky actually see or even read these posts???

As soon as I was near the Canadian border again my phone suddenly picked up signal and fine ever since crossing back over. Sky clearly has issues supporting roaming in the USA and their support on this was next to nothing. Lesson learnt to get a cheap esim or similar from a different provider next time..
