Unable to activate sim

I have ordered an additional sim to put in my new phone for work. Everytime I attempt to activate it I get a message to say unable to activate at this time. 
I am not wanting to transfer my number or cancel my current number. I am wanting this new sim as an additional number.

You will have to call Sky on 150 about this from one of your other working phones.
