Turning off wifi on daughters phone

Hi

My 11 year daughter is sneaking her phone to her bedroom  at night and up until all hours scrolling.  I have the Sky App on my phone.  How do I isolate her phone to ensure that she can't get access to the internet.  We are both with Sky Mobile.

Thanks,

The easiest way is to physically remove the phone from her.

In terms of restricting WiFi AND cellular then Sky do not provide any such restrictions.

However, depending on the phone and its setup then the manufacturers software will provide such parental controls.

Hi @Cariad11  as mentioned by @PandJ2020  this isn't a service sky offer. Look at your WiFi controls or if it's an IPhone look here.

Just to clarify that mobiles can receive data from 2 sources - Broadband (WiFi) and Cellular.

You need to ensure both sources are blocked... (Physical removal is guaranteed 😊)

Re: Turning off wifi on daughters phone

Thanks all.  I was hoping there was a way I could do this (I think like EE).   I have tried the option of taking her phone away and hiding it away so think that will go down this route again.

Thanks for your help.
