Transfer new sim and keep current number

I purchsed a sim for my wife only to find that her current sim was contract to Oct 2027. I now want to use that sim in my phone but keep my current number. Can anyone advise?

Hi @Doug3  the only way is to activate it and it will have a new number, you would then need to use a PAC to port your number to a different network on PAYG then port it back to the new sim. Can't port from sky to sky.
