Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Just got off a chat with sky, this is what they told me. 

Just to clarify, while pre-orders went live on that date, no specific delivery date was guaranteed at the time of placing your order.

Some iPhone 17 models were expected to be in stock from September,

As per your account's current order status, the expected stock date has now been updated to Friday, 3rd October 2025 due to high demand and limited availability of certain models. hope this helps?

I asked if it would definitely be delivered on Friday and all he said was 'yes, that's correct. Rest assured you'll receive your device'

l’m afraid you aren’t speaking to Sky Customer Services by posting here. This is a customer ➡️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other Sky customers.

As we’re customers we have no insight into current stock levels or any delivery timescales. The most up to date information (after credit checks are complete) on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

Any orders for iPhone 17 models are likely to be delayed for longer which happens every year when a new iPhone is launched.

Ordered my iPhone 17 pro max on the 14th they assured me my phone would come by today (it hasn't) on the last call the advisor said I could swap my iPad free of charge (I have iPad 2022) to the iPad 2025 which is £9.50 cheaper of course I said yes. He said it would take 1-2 weeks. I get delivery details about a sky parcel being delivered, I assume it's my phone as that's what I've been told. I open the box and it's the iPad, I noticed there was no return label in the box so I call up again. The lady on the phone said the swap wasn't processed properly and she will do that for me now. Only to then be told it costs to swap out my iPad! Which I did ask many times to the guy on the phone but he assured me it was free. So now I have to return the iPad and have done unnecessary credit checks after the first person lied to me and Im still waiting on the phone. Nightmare. The lady was very helpful though and said I should receive the phone by the 4th

Does anybody have a definitive date for iPhone Air deliveries. All my account has said since 12th September is "coming soon." No info or update from Sky Mobile, poor service. no communication or updates.

Just for some info. I recived my Pro Max 256gb Silver today, I was in the queue to pre order on the 12th. Order was placed at 1:15pm. Confirmation came through mid day on 13th. Message on Sky on 19th saying expect to deliver by 4th Oct.

I did not receive a single text message just emails.

Wondering whether anybody could help me so I ordered an iPhone 17pm on the 26th and I know yes it won't be coming yet but on my order tracking it shows up as action required now my credit checks went through and I have a order confirmation email I also spoke to sky on the phone and they have said that it is due to the backlog and that when they have stock it will update to coming soon does anyone else have the same issue or any idea whether my order definitely has gone through. I obviously don't want to wait a month to find out that I was lied to and I haven't actually got an order.

I ordered 17 PM 256 in blue at 1:30pm on the 12th.

I got told by a lovely Irish man who wasn't in the phone department that they had all received an email that morning explaining that there was a system error . They don't know why but it was prioritising new orders first so the earlier you ordered the further down the list you are, he kept apologising and we had a little laugh when I told him what another rep had said to someone else he just said he was extreamly sorry and he would be upset in this situation too but all we can do is sit tight until they get down to us . I was told earlier they would cancel my order and they still haven't

Ordered iPhone 17 Pro Max Blue 256GB on the 14th of September and just received an email saying my phone is with DPD.

Hope this helps anyone still waiting for theirs.
