Timing your departure
The SkyMobile contract says they require 31 days notice to cancel, even after you've completed the 12 months.
As my price will triple, I want to end service asap after the 365th day.
Does this mean I have to contact them near the end of the 11th month?
At other providers I could just apply a STAC (or PAC) a couple of days before a contract's end.

Re: Timing your departure
Hi @How2 yes you will need to contact sky 31 days before the end of your minimum term to give notice. You can request your PAC a couple of days before the end of your term and use it on the day your term finishes.

Re: Timing your departure
If you want to cancel the number and not move it to another network then 31 days notice is required so you can do this for the 12 months is up.
If you want to use a pac or stac code then you can do this with Sky as well:

Re: Timing your departure
Thanks - so to clarify, STAC on its own isn't enough - I have to message Sky a month ahead to say Au Revoir?
(STAC if I understand it correctly ceases service in a couple of days.)

Re: Timing your departure
You can do either, give Sky the required notice or use the STAC code a few days prior to the end of the end of your contract. Note if you give Sky the STAC on a Friday or Bank Holiday it will not be acted upon until the next working day.
