Text going through as sky number after porting from vodafone

Hi,

I'm a new sky mobile customer. 

I got a PAC code from Vodafone to keep my old number. Calls seem to be fine but text messages are going through on. The temporary Sky number. I have tried resetting the mobile network settings and switched phone off, removed/put back sim etc to no avail! Any ideas?

Actual SMS or (more likely) data-based messages such as iMessage?

Just to confirm - you've given the PAC code to Sky and they've confirmed the port is complete?

(Do phone calls use the correct number?)

Yes, i have had the message to confirm port successful. Phone calls are all fine.

Can you confirm what phone and app you are using (as nowadays many of them do not actually use SMS - they often use a system referencing your phone number).

It's a samsung s24. 

The app is just called 'messages'

If it's relevant the phones I've msgd have been iphones & Samsungs.
