Telephone Number being cloned......

I have received multiple calls from people who have had a missed call from me.  I have never called these numbers but they appear to be getting missed calls from my number.  How is this possible?  Has anyone else had the same issue/experience?

It's quite 'normal'.   As it stands there are ways of 'spoofing' an outgoing call - it affects all networks.

They usually move on after a while and pick another random number.

Your number hasn't been 'cloned' nor at any specific security risk.

so basically (depite me never making 'said' call), it's possible that my number has been 'spoofed' so it looks like the recipient has received a call from me (my number)? Surely there is a way to stop this from happening?

Not currently.

Yes @andylad and no there isn't anything you can do to stop it. They usually move on quickly to someone else's number.
