I have just received my new phone and need to send my old one back as stated in the returns it's in perfect condition but inam
unable to locate the original box is this a problem?

No it shouldn't be an issue @Holly282 as you can use the packaging your new phone came in to return it as there should be a small label on the inside of it somewhere. before sending it off take some photos from a number of angles to show it's condition and also put your name and account number of a piece of paper in the packaging. When returning it make sure you keep the proof of posting receipt as that will have the tracking details on it.

Hi @Holly282 no you don't need the original box. You should be able to use the box your new phone came in. Take photos showing the condition of your phone before you send it back.
