Swap value

Has anyone sent a perfectly good handset back in a swap and had the value halved due to "damage"??

im furious as there wasn't a thing wrong with it when I sent it back.

Ive rejected their offer and will try to sell privately but im not impressed at all.

is it always like that?

Hi @Jo19831  this does seem to come up every now and then and comes in batches, no reports for a while then quite a few at the same time. I normally sell mine elsewhere as you usually get a better price and use that to pay off what's owed on the contract.

That's what I think I'm going to have to do otherwise I'll make a significant loss.

I know some people in the past have had success by challenging the damage claim by asking for photos, not sure of that is worth a try ?

That's a great idea. I've asked for it back so I'll see how it is when it's returned!
