Have just received new phone , already on sky mobile. New phone came with a new sim. Sky app says to activate new sim. Can I just put existing sim into new phone. What do I do about activating new sim in app ?

You can put the sim you already have in your new phone and the other will be cancelled if not activated so you will not be charged for it.

To keep your old number you would need to port your number to a different network on PAYG then port back to the new sim. You could try calling sky and ask for the new plan on your old sim but they may refuse.

Thanks. I think I should have ticked no data plan required to keep my existing plan - it wasn't very clear. I selected a new plan but think I didn't need to.
