Swap is Stuck

Hi All!

I swapped before Xmas and Sky received the phone, BUT it is still showing on my account and its stopping me from Swapping my sons phone. I have been in Limbo since end of December and Sky have assured me they will manually fix this so I can go ahead and swap my other phone. I have reached the device limit with this stuck swap.

I have called and been on chat and they all tell me its with the "Chase" team who are delaing with it and will sort it quickly but I'm still no further forward.

Any Advice on how to get this resolved?

I dont know whats happened to sky lately but they are becoming terrible!Firstly they said the company that receives the swapped phones hadnt forwarded the phone, possibly lost so they put the  Chase team  on it.

Hadnt heard anything so got back in touch to be told that my phone was "locked" and would have to be sent back to me for unlocking!

Now if this was true surely SKy have the facilities to force an Unlock on the phone?

They said it was google locked even though i checked and the phone wasnt connected to my google account in any way.

Fed up of waiting so I called SKY and got customer retentions, asked them if I cleared the Agreement would that enable me to do my new swap? Yes they said!

So Cleared the balance and was told couple of hours the stuck swap will drop off.

Lo and Behold forward to next day and it hasnt "dropped off" so called back in again to be told they would e-mail to have the swap removed! They were already doing this since the 14th of Jan, I am at a loss as to how or why this is happening but my faith in SKY is at rock bottom they cant be trusted to do what they say they will. IF it ever gets resolved I'll post back here but I have no faith.

Did this ever get resolved, I am going through the same problem and have been waiting for 3 months.  10 Phone calls in, lots of promises that the 'Back end' Swap department will remove the returned Iphone 11.  Promises of 'next couple of days' along with ID reference numbers but still nothing has changed and the Iphone I sent back still showing on my account and being billed against.   Absolutely disgraceful service.
