Suspicious call?

Hello everybody. Hope you are well.

I recently applied for a phone but it was unsuccessful. However, I recieved a call from a number registered  to sky. They knew exactly the phone I wanted and everything.They told me I could get the phone if I choose less storage and paid atleast 130 upfront. I told them to call them another day, but I feel like it may be a scam. Does this ever happen?

It is hard to say for sure based on what you said so you could call them to ask them if they can see if anyone called you about your mobile phone order.
