Spare sim

I received a free sim with my phone which I want to add to my account as a spare but I can't figure out how to only how to replace my sim that I already have.

Im not sure you can apply s data package to it because if you did and even if you don't plan to use it you would be paying for it each month which I presume isn't what you want to do ?

No I thought it was free for unlimited calls and texts

It is but you have to have a data package applied to the sim as you can't just have it only with calls and texts.

@Olivia192  It's not free as in meaning free it's sent out in case you're existing sim doesn't fit the new phone 

if you activate it you pay for it monthly you use it as normal replacing your existing altogether or use it as an extra sim whilst paying for it

Yes I thought the package was the £5 100mb of data and unlimited calls and texts but as I had got the phone it was free instead?

Have you tried to activate the sim via your account to see if the option is there to do this, if it isn't call Sky on 150 from the phone that has your other sim in it for help with this.
