Sneaky adverts

Has anyone else been caught out by the 100 MB data deal as advertised on Facebook?  The other data amounts are in ascending order but the 100 GB has been replaced with 100 MB and now we're stuck in a mad circle of not being able to cancel our order! Have to wait until the phone/sim is delivered and then have to send it back. Can't someone at Sky show some common sense here? Also goes against the cancellation detail on the Credit contract as far as I can work out. So frustrating and not a good intro to Sky as a company. Basically was fobbed off earlier by being put through to the Tech Team who just never answered their phone 😡

Thanks, the data plan is free, it's the phone I want to cancel.

If it's not been posted then you will have to call to cancel.

If it is on its way then you can refuse delivery or (I believe a better option) is to accept it and then call to cancel the contract within the cooling off period and return it yourself.

Don't activate it (the dataplan) and you won't be charged.

They are your only options I'm afraid.  You'll have to persevere in calling to cancel.
