Sky wrongly ported my phone number after signing up for broadband
I'm pulling my hair out.
I recently signed up for Sky broadband. I had been with 3 for my mobile and my broadband.
The lovely Sky rep offered to cancel by 3 broadband on my behalf. I said no as I was worried it being tied to my mobile number would cause issues. She insisted it wouldn't, so I said "yes please". Can you guys see where this story is going?
Fast forward to today where my phone gets cut off. I got in touch with 3 and they say Sky put in a request on Sept 22nd for my mobile number to he ported to them. No request to cancel my broadband was made.
I've spent the day trying to get help from customer service but they just keep telling me me it didn't happen.
Anyone know what I could or should do? I can't even call them as I have no phone.

Re: Sky wrongly ported my phone number after signing up for broadband
@marydollard an ISP can only transfer a fixed line broadband service and an associated landline number, it would not be able to port a mobile number to alandline service.
Sky don't have a Mobile Broadband service, the do however offer data sims, but this is not the same thing so this isn't a Sky Mobile related issue
So it may be 3 have cancelled your mobile seriv ce in error?
You don't say of you have a fixed line broadband service or a 4G/5G Mobile broadband service from 3? As far as I'm aware 3 only offer a mobile broadband service.
