Sky roaming in Italy not working

We are driving around Europe and crossed to Italy today, and ever since then I haven't had a signal. As I'm using Maps for my navigation this is a significant problem! Ive done all the online help pages but have had no luck. I cant get on the Sky Help chat either as it seems it's too busy. Can someone give me some help? Note: I have data roaming and mobile data on, have tried to add networks etc - nothing works

Do you have a spend cap set and if so is it high enough to cover the daily £2 charge ?

Hi thanks for your quick response. No, I dont have a spend cap, I removed it before we left. We've bern out here 10 days now. I had a similar problem in Poland on Sunday but it fixed itself after an hour or so. I'm wondering if in both cases it was having a problem picking up a network (in Poland there were no masts and as we crossed into Italy we were in the mountains) but we're now in a city so it should have fixed itself?

Hi sorry for the delay, I had trouble getting through. I set it at the maximum but I'm still getting a 'mobile network not available ' message and a no service sign

Hi again - Im reading that Sky's network in Italy is Fastweb and Down Detector is reporting issues. However my partner's phone seems to be able to make calls and he's on a Sky network too. Does this help?

Hi it all seems to be working again now - the network provider is showing as Windtre and after restarting my phone I seem to have a signal & data again. Thanks for your help

Hello again unfortunately the Sky roaming function stopped working this morning and Ive been without it all day. Again Ive tried the fixes detailed on the help pages and we are nowhere near the data cap. Does anyone know what I can do to get back online?

And now the oine help has told me to phone the Sky experts. Which I cant do as I haven't got a network! This is mega frustrating...
