Sky rip offs

Hi everyone

I am a VIP customer of 17years plus. I had a deal for 2 SIMs at £4 each  and getting 2GB data. Having just got an iPhone 15 I'm pushing my data limit using about 3GB.
As contracts came to an end my discounts were disappearing leaving me paying £6 per month. Looking at deals on VIP page I was offered 5GB at £12 per month reduced to £6 per month. No brainer you would think!!! not so as I was informed as I was upgrading, the deal was not available and best they could do was offer 25% of £12, leaving me paying £9 for each SIM!!!! That's rewarding customer loyalty. Speaking to the third advisor I've opted to keep my present 2GB and draw down from my Piggybank which still has 40GB but I will be paying £4.20 per month for each SiM

. it's small money but the deals offered were misleading at best and breaching trade descriptions at other end of scale.
it's a mean deal sky and it doesn't help if some of your advisors , Sky, don't know deals on offer!!

Check the terms of the offers.  You'll find they are for new dataplans only (with new phone numbers).

There is protracted workaround but requires porting out of the network and back in again.

As you've found out they rarely apply these offers to existing dataplans.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
