Sky mobile upgrade- updates to mobile number

I have two sky mobile accounts- for my sons' mobile phones. They are both due an upgrade which I want to do for Christmas. However I don't want them to know. 

Will they get any updates etc sent via text to thier phones about the upgrade or delivery of their phones?

Hi @5chestnut  the account holder will get lots of emails but the sims on the account shouldn't get any messages, at least I haven't when getting new phones. 

Be aware if you are swapping to do the upgrade you have a two week window in which to return their old devices.
