Sky mobile sim pac code

Hi i moved my vodafone number to sky new sim the number was ported ok but vadofone account not automatically closed vodafone says its sky responsibility to take onership so it can close sky on otherhand saying no vodafone needs to close it manually which vodafone say we cant do that so who is right and wrong in this situation and how do i get the account closed

AIUI it's the gaining provider's responsibility to notify the existing provider within 1 working day of transfer.

 

I would open a complaint with Sky and take it to ADR if necessary.

Hi thanks for your reply this is exactly what vodafone says but sky so admant to say its not thier responsibility because number has been ported

Yeah, go through the complaint process and ADR.   They will probably have to pay compensation for intransigence.

Hi thank you what does ADR stand for sorry to ask not sure what it means i will put complaint there so slow even to response to complaint

ADR is the alternative dispute resolution which you can go to if you have a deadlock letter from Sky after 8 weeks of raising the complaint as you can read about here:

Hello caesarome many thanks for explaining ADR first instant i will put in complaint and see thier response its so fustating dealing with sky customer service giving me wrong information

Hi pand

I have spoken to several customer advisors over few days all state same thing that i should take it up with vodafone not sky
