I am going to Turkey tomorrow and have 890gb saved up on my roll over data, when I arrive is it turn on and go or do I have to buy a roaming passport for data at £2 per day - with thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou need to turn mobile data and roaming on when you arrive then when you first use more than 10mb data, send a text or make a call then you will be charged the £2 fee and this will allow you to use your usual package for 24 hours.

Thank you - unlikely to use the phone as a standard or send texts (as WhatsApp) is our family go to ..... so just to cover - we are all ok individually to use up to 10mb of data and then once we exceed this we will individually be charged £2 per day - again with thank s

That is correct but as 10MB is a really tiny amount of data the chances even using Whats App will see you use more than this and so will trigger the charge. If you have Wifi where you are gong then I would use that and make sure mobile data and roaming are turned off.

Hmmmm
not ideal with kids phones on my account so will be charged £42 to use our own data for the week... 1 adult and 2 children....
