I have 2 sim contracts coming to the end of there 3 year terms and will be losing my discounts that have been on the data plans as a result.

As a VIP customer I have some good deals on a new sim contract but they are only on new sims.

Can I order new Sims and transfer my phone number to that new sim and cancel my existing sims.

Hi @Hoss50  not easily. I phoned on 150 and spoke to retentions and they applied a VIP offer to my current sim, not guaranteed but worth a call.

You cannot PAC code a number within a network....  if Sky won't apply an offer to existing SIMS then the workaround is to transfer the numbers out of the network and back in again.

Hi @Mohcinebenjello  no one here can answer that as it's mainly a customer helps customer forum. Normally an order is cancelled whe the second more enhanced credit check is carried out by sky. You would need to call sky for confirmation of this.

This is a community where customers help each other so isn't a live chat to Sky.

 

This might have happened if you have failed the second more enhanced credit check that takes place. You can call Sky to find out if this is what has happened as they can answer this for you but as Sky is not allowed to view your financial records they can not tell you why you have failed the check. You might want to look into this yourself by signing up to a site that allows you to view your records, one credit checking site they use is Experian so you could sign up to a free trial with them, just remember to cancel.


If this is the case then any upfront charges that you have paid should be refunded within about 14 days.
