If you go on the 'Sky Menu' app. You are able to change the roaming settings. Change the roaming to 'abroad'. This enables you to use wifi-calling on your device. Just remember to switch it back to automatic once away from WiFi and on the network. Its frustrating but at least Wifi-calling is accessible. I am currently awaiting the issue to be addressed by Sky.

Still waiting for a resolution. I have been contacted back to explain the issue again but lots of head scratching and 'it shouldn't do that'. There's obviously a setting missing from phone that don't come direct from sky. Has to be an easy fix...? Will post as soon as I hear something....

FYI - If i stick a THREE, EE or VODA Sim card in my Galaxy S20 FE 5G, they all use wifi calling with no issue. No faffing about with this silly app. Just works...

Clearly not an issue with the handset then. Issue has to be with Sky settings / sim card.

It is something to do with the sky simaybe settings their end. On.my samsung s10 when the menu os set to abroad works for me. My daughter has a sky sim and an apple phone (bought seperate from.sky) and she has wifi calling, I put my sky sim in her ozone and wifi calling does not work?

Is your handset directly from Sky? Mine is unlocked and not originally from Sky so I think this must because of settings the handset misses... I have had a response from the technical team but they reckon they've never heard anything about this issue. Yet I got the annoying fix online and there are plenty of people still experiencing the same problem. I will update with sky's response when they have got back to me. I have just ordered a Fold 3 unlocked from Samsung so hopefully this handset will be different?

Hi @Ashlinjon , Can I make a suggestion, if you press the green handset (call button) on your Samsung then pres the 3 vertical dots on the top right corner and press Settings there is an option on my Samsung Galaxy S21 to toggle WiFi Calling off or on and to state the preference of WiFi or Mobile data calling, worth a try...

It just doesn't work unless I have selected Roaming Abroad in the Sky Menu App. Signal where I live is terrible so I rely on Wifi-calling to receive calls and texts. I always leave the Wifi-calling as Wifi preferred. I did try your suggested setting but still nothing. Thanks anyway

My s10 is old ee unlocked phone. Wifi calling works with ee sim but not sky sim unless I do abroad trick. I spoke to sky advisor who says not their end I need to call ee as it is my handset. I explained I had put my sky sim in my daughters iPhone that she uses her sky sim in and gets wifi calling but my sim does not get wifi calling in her phone either. They still blame my handset as from ee originally amd claim they have never heard of this problem, I explained there is a chat in their forum about it 🙄

Can you please escalate this. Or get another Admin involved?
I've phoned Sky Mobile support like others have on here and we just keep being fobbed off.
If Sky cant get this working I will just leave Sky Mobile because its getting ridiculous now.

I am in exactly the same situation. Any phone that's not originally from Sky has this issue. I have an ongoing complaint which I had to persistently demand as the Sky Tech Team refuse to accept responsibility. I have been to my original network provider and Samsung ( I have the S21 Ultra & Fold 3), both have said that it relates to Sky. The unlocked phones that need the Roaming set to Abroad are missing a certain setting of sorts. I will update as soon as Sky sort this out... I'm not holding my breath though!?!

Complaint email send off today to Sky.
Included the link to this thread and asked for this to be escalated to Sky Mobile technical.
