I think that misses the point, it makes a huge difference, they are happy to talk £xxx a month and put that up

 but whatever their system us it's wrong

 

 ignoring not needing a nanny state check, , I would get it if there was an issue but perfect score means no credit risks. Great track record with Sky etc there's no risk factor. But what I think, like the original poster, is it's their system. An address error or in spelling mistake and your penalised 

 

their loss as I've already gone to another provider and am about to cancel all Sky so they get no more money

 

 plus I bought what they would sell me

 

 It's also bad they jump straight to hard credit searches

@Mishro There is no such status as "No credit risk" , your credit score isn't the only factor taken in to account when lenders make a decision, they look at the amount of open credit accounts on your file and if that number exceeds their acceptance criteria you will be declined, regardless of whether you can afford it.

 

If you have entered any details wrongly then that's on you, its not the fault of Sky or their system, they reject when errors are made to prevent fraud(all providers that offer any credit will do the same).
