Sky Mobile & O2...

I'm with O2 for my mobile & smart watch but my contract is up very soon on my mobile where as I have 15 months to wait for my Watch. I want to move to Sky Mobile, but my question is would they both sync even though they are technically still O2?

Hi @Cjc666  from a look on the O2 website it appears the watch and phone have to be on the same network to fully work. You could try messaging Samsung to see if they can confirm.

edit on reading your post this answer is for iPhones and Apple Watches. 

 


Hi @Cjc666  if your watch is a GPS version then it doesn't matter, the watch will link with your iPhone. If it's a cellular version of the Apple Watch it won't work. 

From Apple "Your iPhone and Apple Watch must use the same network provider,* and you must be within your provider’s network when you set up mobile on your watch."

Thank you for replying. 

 

I'm sorry I did fail to mention both my phone & watch are Samsung's. 

My Watch does have GPS so would a Sky mobile phone connect fully with my O2 watch?
