Sky Mobile Swap Upgrade - Sim Dara Card Query

Hi,

We have 2 iPhones with Sky and ready to use The swap option to upgrade which we've done before. 
Happybto uograde the phones but just looking at the cost of the sims for data usage. 
Currently paying £11 for 3GB on one phone and same amount for 2GB on the other. 
Looks like these can changed online to cost £10 for 3GB of data. 
The rolling data option using the piggy bank is good and used occasionally. We really don't need much more than 3GB per month as generally use wifi whenever an option. 

Question is - can we cancel the sims but obviously keep the phones with Sky? Then get a better sim only deal elsewhere. 

Or is there a way to negotiate a better deal for the sims?

Hi @angelamalco  yes you can get phones from sky and use other network sims if that's what you want. If you call sky on 150 they may offer a loyalty discount on your current sim plans.

You can do this if you have had both Sky sims for 12 months or more. When you do so the nunbers will be lost for good, the laternative is to get a pac code from Sky to transfer the numbers to a different network.

I'm not sure Sky will offer you anymore that what you see on the website which would mean new sims and new numbers,

Sorted. Thanks for the responses. Swaps done & negotiated 30% off the 2 data sim packages.
