Hello,
I activated my Sky Mobile eSIM on Sunday, my number transfer has been "in progress" since. Both my old Vodafone SIM and my new Vodafone SIM are still fully functional, this implies to me that Sky Mobile hasn't even started the porting process. I contacted Vodafone and they say there is no port in progress. I have called Sky a few times and spoken to their live chat to be told different answers each time, please wait 24 hours, please wait 48 hours, please wait 3 - 5 business days, that my service hasn't even started, and that I won't be billed until my number ports over which is a fabrictated lie since my first bill is due tomorrow on the 17th.
With every other company the Level 1 customer support is able to look into porting issues and cancel and request a new port, Sky Mobile seems to be exception and it's extremely frustrating for this to occur since my Vodafone PAYG allowance has just run out meaning I can only use data, make calls and texts using the new Sky Mobile 089 number which I don't want to use!
Please can someone assist?
Kind regards,
Eryk

I ended up having to cancel my Sky Mobile plan, the customer service agents just kept stalling every single day, probably to make me stay past the cooling off period, called the cancellations department and just left. Avoid.
