Saturday morning, every number I try to call to get help is just a robot that tells me the lines are closed.
Having major problems with my Sky mobile esim, so I went ahead and deleted it thinking I could easily reinstall it.
That was a massive mistake.
The QR code in the app is no longer active.
So great I'll just order a replacement esim, should be handy and easy enough right?
NO
Sky needs to send me a security code to continue on the option and guess where they need to send it too?
You guessed right, my mobile number.
How can one get this code if they DON'T have an active esim?
Make it make sense.
So due to my stupid idea to delete and simply reinstall my esim, I am bang smack out of luck, and have to wait until Monday to fix.
That security check really needs another look at, oh you want to replace your esim, fine but we need to send you a text first! What??
Thanks Sky, no calls or data for the weekend. Great service with plenty of help for scenarios like mine.
