Hi I've just had an email to say my sim contract ends on 19th July and yes of course it's going up.
I have found another deal for sky vip customers which is a much better deal but not sure how to go about changing it? Do I have to wait for the 19th July to cancel and then get the vip deal...if it's still available then... or can I cancel now and buy the vip offer and use straight away
Thanks

Hi @stgilles70 those VIP offers will come with a new number. You can't port your old number directly to the new sim/plan. You would need to port your number with a PAC to a different network on PAYG then port it back to the new sim. If you are happy with a new number then just order one of the VIP sims. You would need to wait until your minimum term is up with the old sim before cancelling or you could face early termination charges.

Ok that makes sense thank you for replying
I think I'll look around for another deal elsewhere as I would like to keep my number without any hassle
