Sim blocked I need a puk code
I think I have accidentally set a Sim code on my phone. I didn't think it gone through so I've just tried to put it in now and it's not accepting the code I set up and it tells me I need a puck code but I need to phone them about this and I can't use my phone because it's blocked. I've tried to get through for a Web chat and nothing's happening. How do I get a postcode?

Re: Sim blocked I need a puk code
8 zeroes does indeed work but surely that's a 'worse than useless' security design.
Anyone that's stolen a phone can easily transfer the SIM to another unlocked phone, use the PUK code to unlock the SIM and then do all sorts of purchases or malicious actions using the real owner's account while they have the false illusion that they're protected.
Surely the PUK codes should be (near) unique to each SIM

You are not the first to point this out @Steve+K1311 , does seem to not be a very secure system, when I was with Vodafone you had individual PUK codes.
