Sim activation

I ordered a new sim it got lost they sent a new one however have now received both but don't know which one to activate as when I spoke to sky they said the new sim would give me more gigs and for a longer contract period but can't tell which sim is which

If both sims had the same plan attached against them then it shouldnt matter which one you activate.
